What Beamer said about suspensions, health outlook for Kevin Harris

Coach Beamer said that suspensions will be handed down when the investigation is complete. He also talked about how Kevin Harris’ health has improved since initially being injured in a motorcycle crash back on June 3rd, but was still not able to travel with the team yet.

The coach’s words at yesterday’s press conference really stood out after what he had originally released earlier this week through an email from his athletic director: “We are aware of and take seriously all matters involving student conduct,” Athletic Director Whit Babcock wrote Wednesday night without mentioning any names or numbers involved in off-field incidents during August training camp practices.”

The very talented Shane Beamer was a two-time First Team All American, in 2010 and 2011. He also won the SEC’s Jacobs Blocking Trophy both years as well.
