Virtual Conference, PSL franchise owners heaped complaints
PSL franchise owners piled up complaints in a virtual conference with the PCB chairman. “We have not been trusted with the Corona protocols,” he said. Chairman Ehsan Mani’s assurance to remove all reservations.
A virtual meeting was held on the issue of postponement of PSL, the franchise owners demanded a review of the matter. It is said that no consultation is held in important matters, no franchisees have been consulted on coded protocols. The situation worsened as the franchise was kept out of business.
Chairman Ehsan Mani patiently listened to the franchise owners and assured them that their concerns would be addressed. He said that in future, the franchises will not get a chance to lodge complaints which will not be the case.
According to sources, the option of holding matches other than Pakistan was not discussed. Various options were considered to complete the PSL in Pakistan.
The next meeting will discuss the PSL window and the BioSecure bubble. It was agreed to hold another meeting on PSL Six three days later. The next meeting will decide to reconvene the league.
