US Commander General McKinsey meets Army Chief, discusses issues of mutual interest and regional issues of the US Senate, called on Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
According to ISPR, the meeting between Army Chief and US Senate Command Commander General McKinsey focused on mutual interest in Pak-US military leadership and regional issues.
The Army Chief and the US General agreed to move the Afghan peace process forward.
General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that Pakistan is committed to the Afghan peace process.
General Kenneth McKenzie praised Pakistan’s efforts for Afghan peace.
Earlier, Zamir Kabulov, the Russian president’s special envoy to Afghanistan, met with Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa at the GHQ.
According to ISPR, the meeting discussed issues of mutual interest, including progress in the Afghan peace process, as well as the regional security situation.
