A blast at a madrassa in the Dir Colony area of ​​Peshawar has left four people dead.

Rescue sources said that 19 children studying in the madrassa were injured in the blast.

As soon as the blast was reported, police, security forces, and rescue teams rushed to the spot where rescue operations were underway.

According to Rescue 1122 officials, the condition of several injured children is critical.

Officials at Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar have confirmed the transfer of 15 children to the hospital, saying the condition of two of the children arriving at Lady Reading Hospital is critical.
