THIS man appointed chairman of the Afghanistan Cricket Board after Taliban takeover

“As the Taliban took over, this man appointed chairman of their board had his hands full with keeping them from running things. By day he was fighting for peace and democracy in Kabul; by night – well let’s just say that no one expected him back at work tomorrow!”

A Taliban-appointed district official in Afghanistan has been elected the country’s new cricket board chairman. Mohammad Dastager, a 33 year old who now leads over 400 administrative positions as well at his New York based transport company called Mr Fix It Logistics is taking on one of most important jobs imaginable for an Afghani man – being responsible for managing and promoting all forms with regards to sports including football (soccer), basketball or even horse racing!
A recent report from The Times newspaper states that he may be attending peace talks between government officials and insurgents set next month but if this doesn’t work out then it seems like business as usual because plans already underway will continue without him until thereafter when another roundtable meeting takes place where different parties can discuss repercussions
