Third ODI Zimbabwe defeated Pakistan in the Super Over
Zimbabwe defeated hosts Pakistan in the third and final ODI after an interesting contest.
The last match of the three-match series played in Rawalpindi was decided in the Super Over. In the Super Over, Pakistan managed to give the visiting team a target of only 3 runs which was met by Zimbabwe.
The three-match ODI series ended with a 1-2 lead for Pakistan with the victory of the visiting team.
Earlier, in the third and final ODI, the visitors won the toss and elected to bat and scored 278 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the stipulated 50 overs.
Zimbabwe’s Sean Williams played the best performance in an unbeaten inning of 118 runs.
For the national team, Mohammad Hasnain bowled brilliantly of his career and took 5 wickets for 26 runs in 10 overs.
It should be noted that in the three-match ODI series, the national team has a decisive lead with a victory of two matches.
