The Punjab government extended the parole of Shahbaz Sharif and Hamza

LAHORE: The Punjab government has extended the parole of Shahbaz Sharif and Hamza Shahbaz.

Opposition leaders in the National Assembly, Shahbaz Sharif and Hamza Shahbaz, were released on parole today.

The PML-N had yesterday filed a petition with the Punjab Home Department seeking extension of the parole of Shahbaz Sharif and Hamza Shahbaz.

According to sources, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar consulted the Home Department and the law at the request of the PML-N, after which it was decided to extend the parole of both.
