The Prime Minister approved the textile policy

Prime Minister Imran Khan has approved the draft textile policy for 2020 to 2025.

Ministry of Commerce Textile Division officials said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed to submit the textile policy to the Economic Co-ordination Committee for approval. The textile policy will be sent to the ECC next week for approval.

The documentary policy proposes to increase textile exports to ارب 20.8 billion by 2025, reduce electricity and gas tariffs, increase long-term financing for textile sector machinery and focus on human resource development, including access to new markets.
