Asif Ali Zardari had a brief talk with the members of the Assembly. He said that he would save the life of the nation from the incompetents. The rulers are fighting among themselves. There are cracks in the ranks of the government. We are winning the Senate elections. We have faced great challenges on the strength of our workers and members of the Assembly. Bakhtawar Bhutto, Mahmood Chaudhry, Asifa Bhutto, Faryal Talpur were also present at the dinner.

Earlier, there was a telephone conversation between Asif Zardari and Nawaz Sharif. According to sources, the two leaders had a telephone conversation to discuss the Senate elections. According to PPP sources, the former president had appealed to Nawaz Sharif to fully support Yousuf Raza Gilani. PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif had assured full support to Yousuf Raza Gilani.
