The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s annual fundraising gala featured some extravagant styles on the starry night in New York City last week as guests arrived for this year’s “Gala celebration: Fashion and Design.” Many celebrities strutted their stuff down Fifth Avenue before stepping into tents erected next door at Lincoln Center where they could view artist renderings designed by Maison Margiela designer John Galliano or take selfies while wearing designs from Dsquared2 outside soaking up rays beneath an elegant roof under which lurks one very famous face among many – KAWS
