Strictly Come Dancing’s John Whaite speaks out after finishing second
John Whaite is the latest celebrity to speak out after coming in second place in this year’s Strictly Come Dancing. As the last celeb to be voted off the show, the TV star has admitted he is devastated to have lost out on the Glitterball trophy. He said he was “gutted” to have come second, after being a strong contender to win the competition. However, he has admitted he’s had “the best experience of my life”.
Strictly Come Dancing’s John Whaite has spoken out after finishing second on the show. The baking champion, 33, lost out to fellow contestant Ore Oduba in the Saturday night final. But he’s had a taste of success after his Baked Alaska dessert won the 2015 Christmas special. John, who is gay, says he’s glad he took part in the show, but was surprised so many viewers liked his baking skills.
JUDGES were dealt a huge blow this evening when John Whaite was voted off Strictly Come Dancing. The Liverpudlian baker, 32, left the show after losing the dance-off against opera singer Katherine Jenkins. Both couples had to prepare a tango for the dance-off, but John and his partner Natalie Lowe, 27, lost out to Katherine and her partner Aljaz Skorjanec.
