Smart lockdown implemented in 7 areas of the provincial capital Lahore
Corona cases are on the rise in Lahore. Smart lockdown has been implemented in 7 areas of the provincial capital.
Different streets of Askari Tan and Defense Phase Two and Three were sealed. Smart lockdown has also been implemented in Sarwar Colony and Shad Bagh. According to the Secretary Primary and Secondary Health Care, all shopping malls, restaurants, offices (private and government) will remain closed in the lockdown areas.
Transportation of area residents will be limited. An individual will be able to use a ride in case of extreme need, gatherings are prohibited.
Capt. (Retd) Muhammad Usman says all medical services, pharmacies, medical stores, laboratories, collection points, hospitals and clinics will be open 24 hours a day.
Malik shops, chicken and meat shops, bakeries will be open from 7 am to 7 pm. Grocery stores, general stores, flour mills, fruit, vegetable shops, ovens and petrol pumps will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
