Kabul: Significant progress has been made in talks between the Afghan government and the Taliban.
According to the Arab News Agency, the Afghan government and the Taliban have finally reached a written agreement for the first time after a 19-year long war, which was confirmed by representatives of the Afghan government and the Taliban, who said they had reached a preliminary agreement for peace talks. ۔
Afghan government negotiator Nader Naderi told a foreign news agency that the procedure, including the initial announcement of the talks, had been finalized and that talks on the agenda would begin soon.
On the other hand, a Taliban spokesman confirmed the progress of talks with the government via Twitter.
A joint statement from the Taliban and government representatives said a joint working committee had been tasked with drafting an agenda for peace talks.
