The actress, 29, who plays love interest Stacey Branning, was pictured yesterday with husband James Murray and their daughter Matilda, who is almost three. She is adamant she will keep up her TV and film schedule until her baby is born – which could be as late as spring next year.

The actress, who plays Tanya Branning in the popular BBC One soap, is said to be trying to extend her stint on the dancing show for as long as she can. The 47-year-old was crowned Strictly champion on Saturday night, alongside dance partner Artem Chigvintsev, following a tense finale against fellow contestants Ore Oduba and Joanne Clifton. The couple sent the studio audience wild with their final performance, which saw them complete the show with a perfect 40/40 score. The Mirror reports that, while it is not yet known exactly when she will quit the soap, it is likely to be in the coming months.

However, according to The Sun, she is planning to leave Walford so that she can focus on her new role. A source told the publication: ‘Rose has told bosses she will leave the show in 2019. She has loved her time on the show but wants to focus on her burgeoning career as a professional dancer.’
