Reward on Abid Malhi’s arrest, response of Chief Justice Excessive Courtroom
LAHORE: The Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) has expressed anger over the arrest of Abid Malhi, the principle accused within the Gujjarpura rape case.
In line with particulars, the Lahore Excessive Courtroom expressed shock on the announcement of a reward for arresting a girl accused of rape on the Lahore Motorway.
The Chief Justice of the Excessive Courtroom mentioned that it’s the duty of the police to catch the accused. What’s the reward for this? Expressing anger, the Chief Justice mentioned that the accused was not caught by the police and the officers have been making arrests.
It might be recalled that the principle accused Abid was arrested by his father two days in the past after 33 days of eye contact with the police. Earlier, even eight particular groups couldn’t hint Abid. The accused evaded the police 3 times. Had escaped
Police mentioned that the accused Abid had escaped from Kasur, Nankana and Sheikhupura by evading the police. A reward of Rs 2.5 million was additionally introduced for the informant of the accused.
