Quetta Gladiators beat Multan Sultans by 22 runs

Quetta’s prayers bring color in Pakistan Super League Six. Gladiators defeated Multan Sultans by 22 runs and stepped on the ladder of victory.

Quetta broke the tradition of winning the match by winning the toss. Quetta became the first team to successfully defend the target in the current PSL season.

Quetta Gladiators scored 176 for seven thanks to 81 runs by young Usman Khan. Duplessis and Azam Khan scored 17 runs. Sarfraz Ahmed was dismissed for three, Ben Cutting for ten and Muhammad Nawaz for 20.

In pursuit of the target of 177 runs, the entire team of Multan lost courage on 154 runs. Captain Muhammad Rizwan’s innings of 66 runs went in vain. James Vance (24), Khush Dil Shah (19) and Imran Tahir (14) were all out.

Qaisar Ahmed of Quetta Gladiators took three wickets and was declared the best player of the match.
