PML-N’s nomination papers for Senate elections rejected

The Election Commission has rejected the nomination papers of PML-N’s Pervez Rashid for the Senate elections.

In the decision of the Returning Officer, it has been declared that Pervez Rashid is a defaulter of Rs. 95 lakh of Punjab House. Talking to media, Pervez Rashid said that he was ready to deposit money but was not ready to do so. The PML-N leader also announced to go to the tribunal against the decision.

The Returning Officer had today summoned 14 candidates for scrutiny of nomination papers.
