PM announces vote of confidence in National Assembly on Saturday
Prime Minister Imran Khan on Saturday announced a vote of confidence in the National Assembly.
Imran Khan in his address to the nation said that if he is not eligible then the members of the assembly should raise their hands against him. If they lose, they will sit in opposition. It doesn’t matter if the power is gone but they will not give up. Opposition will be blackmailed and will not give NRO.
Yesterday, Prime Minister Imran Khan also telephoned allies and held consultations with party leaders to get a vote of confidence from the National Assembly.
Prime Minister Imran Khan announced the name of Sadiq Sanjarani for the chairmanship of the Senate. He said in the conversation that he could not change his intention for the post, change of rotten system is my mission, I will continue to expose the money politics of the opposition.
The Prime Minister also contacted Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, convener of his ally MQM Pakistan, over phone. The Senate consulted on the decision to seek a vote of confidence, including the election. The Prime Minister also invited the MQM delegation to Islamabad for a meeting. The Prime Minister also telephoned Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal and Speaker Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Pervez Elahi.
