MOSCOW: A small plane crashed in the Russian capital, Moscow, killing the TV host and his wife.
According to a report of a foreign news agency, the famous Russian TV host Alexander Koltoy, 41, was making an emergency landing of a Cessna plane when a fire broke out in the plane, as a result of which the TV host and his wife were killed.
In the video, it can be seen that smoke is rising from the plane during the flight from the only engine of the plane, eyewitnesses say that a fire was burning in the plane and its wreckage was seen lying in a nearby field.
The press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations confirmed the deaths of two people in the plane crash and said that the private plane made an emergency landing near the village of Tomilino near Novaryazansky Highway.
Anchor Lira, a co-host of the TV host, said he loved to fly in the air and flew almost every weekend.
