PDM protest in front of Election Commission today
The Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) has announced a full scale protest in front of the Election Commission in Islamabad today.
The Islamabad administration has made preparations in view of the demonstration in front of the Election Commission of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM).
In view of the protest, barricades and barbed wire have been erected in front of the ECP building while the road leading to the ECP building has been completely sealed. The protesters will be able to enter the red zone from Srinagar Highway.
In this regard, Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that he would demand from the Election Commission that a verdict be pronounced on the crime which has already been confessed.
PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz has said that undemocratic forces want to end their involvement in politics. PML-N has no backdoor contacts with anyone.
Besides, PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will not participate in the protest today. He said that he would celebrate the victory of PPP in Umerkot today.
Bilawal Bhutto said that the nexus between PTI and Election Commission in foreign funding case should end.
