A Pakistan Army spokesman said that a helicopter used by the Pakistan Army crashed near Mani Marg area due to technical fault.

According to a statement issued by the Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR), a Pakistan Army helicopter crashed in the Mani Marg area of ​​Gilgit-Baltistan due to a malfunction.

According to ISPR, the helicopter crash occurred while transporting the body of martyred soldier Abdul Qadir to Khaki Skardu.

According to the public relations department, pilot Major Muhammad Hussain, co-pilot Major Ayaz Hussain, Naik Inzamam Alam and soldier Muhammad Farooq were martyred in the accident.

According to ISPR, the pilot Major Ayaz Hussain belonged to Khablu area of ​​Skardu while he was residing in Malir area of ​​Karachi.

A Pakistan Army spokesman said Naik Inzamam Alam was a resident of Chakwal district in Punjab and soldier Farooq was a resident of Sahiwal in Punjab.
