Ninja remains most searched for gamer in the world

Ninja is the most popular e-sports gamer in the world and it seems his popularity doesn’t show any sign of slowing down. In fact, searches for Ninja have increased by some 74% since his win at the Fortnite World Cup in July. According to Google data, Ninja, who is also known as Tyler Blevins, was the most searched for e-sports gamer in the world in August.

His position is surprising given the dominance of South Korean class of gamers in the e-sports world – especially when it comes to the hugely popular battle royale title Fortnite. But it appears Ninja is a global star who is a hit in the US and Europe as well as the Far East.

Gamer Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins is the most searched for gamer in the world, according to new research from Google. The US gamer, who became the first celebrity to play Fortnite with Drake earlier this year, is followed by South Korean gamer Faker and American streamer Dr. Disrespect on the list of the most searched for gaming personalities.

The research also found that ‘Fortnite’ is the most searched for game, ahead of ‘Overwatch’ and ‘PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds’. The findings are based on an analysis of Google searches in more than 20 different countries.

This news was first published by Forbes. Ninja, real name Tyler Blevins, is a 27-year-old Twitch streamer who has been live-streaming since 2011. In 2021, he has been the most-watched streamer on Twitch, with a peak of 628,000 viewers. Blevins is best known for playing the video game Fortnite and in 2018, he broke the world record for the most people watching a single person playing a video game.
