National Interest Movement will never become a political party – Abu Sakara
Abu Sakara, the leader of National Interest Movement (NIM), has reiterated that his party will not become a political entity in future. This comes during an interview with PTV News program host Hamid Mir on Saturday night after he was declared winner from Karachi’s NA-245 constituency for the upcoming general elections 2018 by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
National interest movement is just to bring awareness about issues and it remains as organization but never becomes full fledged political party – Abu sakara
Abu Sakara, a political activist and journalist with National Interest Movement (NIM), says that the movement will never become a political party.
Abu Sakara doesn’t want NIM to turn into another major Egyptian opposition group like Kefaya or April 6 Youth Movement. He believes there is no need for it as he feels his NGO already serves this purpose well enough by campaigning against injustice in Egypt through its website and social media accounts without having to deal with all of the other issues associated with running an official political campaign such as fundraising campaigns.
