My God knows like I have been in prison for corona epidemic: Hamza Shahbaz
LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Hamza Shahbaz while giving a statement in the accountability court said that my God knows as I have been in jail in Corona epidemic and during the virus I used to take medicine on my own.
The Lahore Accountability Court heard the Ramzan Sugar Mills reference in which the police produced Hamza Shahbaz before the court.
During the hearing, Hamza Shahbaz told the court that he wanted to say something and the court allowed him to speak.
Hamza Shahbaz said that I have been appearing in the courts for 17 months, during which time I was brought in a bullet proof vehicle, suddenly an armored vehicle was brought, I came out of the jail on time for the last hearing, I did not refuse. Police officers deliberately brought an armored vehicle for me.
The League leader told the court that everyone knows that I have severe back pain. I waited for two and a half hours for the car, told the police to change the car and take it to court.
Hamza Shahbaz said that as I have been in jail in Corona epidemic, my God knows, during Corona virus, I used to take medicine on my own.
He told the court that a man slapped his hand on his face and said, “I will see now.” The judge then directed Hamza Shahbaz not to talk politics here, to talk about the law in the court in his defense. Say what you have to say
