Mutiny case: Police remove names of all leaders except Nawaz Sharif

Police have removed the names of all PML-N leaders except Nawaz Sharif in a coup case against the PML-N leadership in Lahore.

Police have decided not to take action against former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Maryam Nawaz, Khawaja Asif, Ahsan Iqbal, Rana Sanaullah, Lt. Gen. Abdul Qayyum, Lt. Gen. (retd) Salahuddin Tirmidhi and other leaders.

Following the statement of plaintiff Badr Rashid, the SIT withdrew four times from the FIR but retained the charge of inciting mutiny.

According to the spokesperson of Investigation Lahore, the case will be investigated on the basis of law, evidence and requirements of justice.
