Multan’s Qasim Bagh Stadium remained a battlefield throughout the night

A day before the PDM meeting on November 30, Multan’s Qasim Bagh Stadium remained a battleground overnight, with police charging batons for violating the Corona SOPs and Ali Qasim, son of Yousuf Raza Gilani. Dozens of activists and leaders, including Gilani, were arrested.

PDM workers, dancing to the beat of drums, shaking hands and gossiping at the old Qasim Bagh Stadium in Multan, arrived with a crane to remove containers, but the stadium turned into a battlefield.

Police charged baton on the workers, and former Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani’s son Ali Gilani arrested several workers, including when they leave the stadium after workers took to the catering marquee, chairs and other equipment.

Earlier, PPP and PML-N workers broke the locks of Qasim Stadium and removed the containers.

Containers have been re-placed at the entrance of Qasim Bagh Stadium and an Indian contingent of police has also been deployed.
