Maryam Nawaz’s husband Captain Safdar arrested in Karachi, video also came to light

KARACHI: Police have arrested Captain (retd) Safdar, husband of Maryam Nawaz.

According to Geo News, police arrested Mohammad Safdar from a private hotel and arrested him for violating the Mazar-e-Quaid Act by chanting slogans at Mazar-e-Quaid.

Police said that a case has been registered against Captain Safdar in Brigade police station and he has been arrested and kept in Aziz Bhatti police station.

Confirming the arrest of Captain Safdar, the police brigade said that the league leader was arrested in a case of desecration of Mazar-e-Quaid.
