Machh tragedy: Karachi sit-ins, traffic jams, motorcycles set on fire on Drug Road
There are sit-ins at more than 25 places in Karachi against the Machh tragedy, which has disrupted the traffic system in the city, while the closure of Shahra-e-Faisal and Gulistan-e-Jauhar has caused severe difficulties to those arriving at the airport.
The main sit-in is going on at the exhibition square in Karachi due to which the flow of traffic on M Jinnah Road is also affected.
Roads are also closed to traffic due to protests at Korangi Crossing and Sakhi Hassan.
Protests are also being staged at Natha Khan, Colony Gate, Kamran Chowrangi, Johar Mor, Safora Chowrangi, Abul Hassan Isfahani Road, Napa, Samama Bridge, Malir 15, Stargate, Power House, Ancholi and Five Star Chowrangi.
Protests are also being staged in the city against Tower, Ayesha Manzil, Nazimabad No. 7, Nazimabad No. 1, Steel Town Chowk, Korangi Dhai No. 2, Surjani KDA Flat, Shah Faisal Colony Bridge, Ziauddin Chowrangi, Nagan Chowrangi and People’s Chowrangi. ۔
The ongoing sit-ins at several places in the city disrupted the traffic system in Karachi.
On the other hand, unidentified persons set fire to 4 motorcycles on Drug Road.
Due to sit-ins on Shahra-e-Faisal and Gulistan-e-Jauhar, people coming and going to the airport are facing severe difficulties while many flights have been delayed for the last two days due to difficulties in getting the airport staff on duty.
