Legendary Indian actor Dilip Kumar has passed away Today

Dilip Kumar’s family has confirmed the actor’s death on his Twitter account.

According to Indian media, 98-year-old Dilip Kumar was shifted to a private hospital in Mumbai yesterday due to difficulty in breathing where he died.

Dilip Kumar was born in 1922 in Khudadad neighborhood of Peshawar and his ancestral home is still present in Peshawar.

Dilip Kumar, popularly known as the Emperor of Emotions, was also awarded the Dada Sahib Phalke Award, the highest award in Indian cinema, when he was awarded the Nishan-e-Pakistan by the Pakistani government in 1998.

Dilip Kumar has acted in more than 65 films, his most famous films being Devdas, Sang Dil, Amar, On, Andaz, Niadur, Karma and Mughal Azam
