Landslide in Skardu, 4 Pak Army personnel including 12 passengers martyred
PESHAWAR: 4 Pakistan Military personnel had been martyred in a landslide on Skardu Street in Jaglot district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
In line with particulars, a bus heading from Rawalpindi to Skardu was hit by a landslide at Baghicha on Jaglot Jaglot Jaglot Skardu Street in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, because of which four Pakistan Military personnel together with 12 passengers had been martyred.
The martyrs embody Cop Sonakhan, Cop Asif, Cop Irshad, Cop Farooq, Pakistan Military Fast Response Groups Ambulance, Engineers are current on the spot.
Police say the bus was carrying 18 passengers, 10 died on the spot and 6 extra later died.
Police confirmed that 16 individuals had been killed within the accident and stated that six passengers, together with the motive force and conductor, have been recognized.
The our bodies of the deceased have been shifted to CM H Skardu. Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Minister Mir Afzal has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic incident. He expressed sympathy to the bereaved households and directed them to take crucial steps to repatriate the deceased.
Rescue 1122, native police and FWO groups took half within the operation. In line with rescue sources, a passenger van coming from Rawalpindi to Skardu was buried beneath the rubble after a landslide at Rondo Tangos.
