Ayatollah Khamenei Sends Condolences on Death of Lebanese Cleric Qabalan

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei sent condolences to the Lebanese cleric and political leader Sheikh Mohammad Qabalan for his demise.
Khamenei expressed deep sorrow about death of Shia Marja (religious reference). He said that late Imam Khomeini had great respect with him, adding: “Sheikh Mohammad was not only a prominent personality in Lebanon but he also played an important role during Iran-Lebanon war”.
He reiterated that such personalities like deceased Sheik were always present whenever there is crisis or dispute occurred between Islamic countries.

Upon hearing of the death of Lebanese cleric, Sheikh Muhammad Hussein Fadlallah (Qabalan), Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei sent his condolences. He called Qablan a devoted and pious man who worked for Lebanon and Islamic unity as well as justice across the globe.
