Lahore: It has been revealed that an extortion of Rs 5 million was demanded from a trader of Jail Road.

In the FIR registered in the police station race course, Jail Road trader Chaudhry Aqeel Ashraf alleged that unknown extortionists called several times on October 20 and 21 and threatened to kill him and his family if he did not pay the extortion of Rs 5 million.

Race Course Police Station has registered a case of making threats on the phone instead of extortion. The affected businessman has demanded protection from the authorities.
