Tehran: Iran bans US ambassador to Iraq
In response to the Arab Information Company, Iran has banned the US ambassador in Baghdad in response to the US blacklisting of the Iranian ambassador.
Iran has referred to as the actions of US Ambassador to Iraq Matthew Tullier a terrorist act towards Iran.
An announcement issued by the Iranian Overseas Ministry mentioned that two US diplomats, together with US Ambassador Matthew Tullier, have been concerned in planning, financing and terrorist actions towards the pursuits of the Iranian authorities and residents.
Iran has additional accused US diplomats of plotting to assassinate Iranian Normal Qasim Soleimani, together with two deputies of Matthew Tullier.
A spokesman for Iran’s international ministry mentioned in a press release on Twitter that US Ambassador to Iraq Matthew Tullier had performed a key position within the assassination of Normal Qasim Soleimani and was imposing sanctions on Iranian residents.
