Hathras scandal: CBI registers FIR, team formed for investigation
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has registered a case in the murder case of a Dalit girl after the gang rape in Hathras. Also, CBI has started its investigation in this case. The CBI has registered a case on the request of the Uttar Pradesh government. The CBI has formed a team in this regard. The investigation is on.
According to the statement released, the CBI started its investigation today by registering a case against an accused in the Hathras case. Earlier, the victim’s brother had filed a case in Chandpa police station of Hathras. The complainant had alleged that on 14 September 2020, the accused tried to strangle her sister in a millet field.
Please tell that the CBI has taken the Hathras case in its hands. The incident has been around 27 days. First the Hathras Police, then the SIT, and now the CBI have started an investigation in this case.
SIT was still investigating this matter. When the SIT started an investigation to know the truth of 14 September, there were 40 people from the village on its target. These 40 people of the village have been questioned. These 40 people are those who were working in the surrounding fields on 14 September. These include the accused and the victim’s house.
