The figure was confirmed by 343 Industries developer Josh Holmes who said the following on a recent stream. Halo Infinite will be releasing on both the Xbox One and PC. The game will run at 60 FPS on both platforms and 4K resolution on the Xbox One X. The game will be powered by CryEngine and will support RTX.
Microsoft and 343 Industries have finally confirmed that Halo Infinite, the next mainline game in the Halo series, is coming to PC and will be using the same game engine, the Slipspace Engine, as Halo 5: Guardians. Halo Infinite will be available on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox One X. The game will be set in a brand new universe with a brand new story, and it will be 4x the size of Halo 5. It will also be a lot more graphically detailed. In a recent interview, Chris Lee and Dan Ayoub confirmed the game will have a 60 frames-per-second (FPS) at 4K resolution. They also confirmed Halo Infinite will indeed be a Xbox Game Pass title.
