‘Gentefied’ Season 2 Shares First Look Photos and Premiere Date

‘Gentefied’ is back for another season, and this time things are going to be different. Season 2 will introduce a new cast of characters in the same setting as before—a small town with tons of secrets hidden behind closed doors. The premiere date has been set at January 23rd on Netflix!

“Season two takes place five years after the events that happened in series one,” says writer Amy Jenkins who adds “and it’s still about three families living under one roof.” This show gives us an inside look into what life would have been like if your family had more wealth rather than less or none at all – making viewers question how much money does happiness cost?

The second season of the Netflix original series “Gentefied” is set to premiere on October 12 and will feature eight new episodes. The show follows a group of African American men who spend their days in an assisted living facility as they struggle through life, love, and loss.
The upcoming season marks several milestones for the cast: It’s director Debbie Allen’s first time directing television since 2008 when she was at helm for Disney Channel sitcom “A.N.T Farm,” which also starred one-time Gentefied star China Anne McClain; it’s co-star Marcel Spears’ debut TV role after serving 10 years behind bars (he plays Donovan); and it stars Leon Ockenden — known Stateside
