GB elections: ‘Caliber Queen and son Zardari admit defeat like good children’
Firdous Ashiq Awan, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Punjab, said that Caliber Queen and her son Zardari should accept their defeat in the Gilgit-Baltistan elections like good children.
In a statement, Special Assistant Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan said that change has taken place in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Firdous Ashiq Awan said that despite the severe cold weather, a large number of people reached the polling stations.
Criticizing the PML-N and PPP leaders, the Special Assistant for Information said that Caliber Queen and Farzand Zardari should admit defeat in the elections like good children.
It is to be noted that the results of the elections for 23 out of 24 seats of the Gilgit-Baltistan Legislative Assembly are coming out yesterday and according to the unofficial results so far, independent candidates are contesting for 6 seats, PTI for 6, 4 The PPP candidate and the MWM candidate have won.
