Funeral prayers of Maulana Dr Adil Shaheed were offered Funeral prayers were offered for Maulana Dr Adil Shaheed who was martyred in Karachi yesterday.

Maulana Adil Shaheed’s funeral prayers were offered at Jamia Farooqia Hub River Road Phase II in which besides scholars, a large number of people from other walks of life including students and devotees also participated.

Jaid Alam Din Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani, Mufti Muhammad Rafiq Usmani, Maulana Hanif Jalandhari, Senator Abdul Ghafoor Haideri, Maulana Rashid Soomro, Superintendent of Banuria University Mufti Noman and Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman also attended the funeral prayers of Maulana Adil Shaheed.

Maulana Adil Shaheed was buried at Farooqia University next to his father Maulana Saleemullah Khan.

It may be recalled that the well-known religious scholar Maulana Dr Adil was martyred by firing in Shah Faisal Colony No. 2 yesterday.

Political and social figures, including Prime Minister Imran Khan, Sindh Chief Minister, Sindh Governor and Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa, have strongly condemned the killing of Dr Adil.
