Former Pakistani President Mamnoon Hussain has died
Former Pakistani President Mamnoon Hussain has died at the age of 80 in a private hospital in Karachi.
PML-N Sindh media coordinator Khawaja Tariq has confirmed to Independent Urdu that former president Mamnoon Hussain was undergoing treatment at Aga Khan Hospital for the last 15 days.
He said that Mamnoon Hussain was suffering from cancer.
Mamnoon Hussain has been the President of Pakistan during the PML-N government from 2013 to 2018.
Former President Mamnoon Hussain was born on December 23, 1940 in Agra and emigrated to Pakistan with his family in 1949.
He graduated from Karachi University in 1963 with a degree in Commerce and then a Masters’s Degree in IBA Karachi in 1965.
After completing his education, he initially got involved in his father’s business, but later became involved in his own textile business.
