Former Deputy Chairman NAB Hassan Wasim Afzal passed away due to corona

LAHORE: Former Deputy Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and senior bureaucrat Hassan Waseem Afzal has lost his life due to global epidemic Corona virus.

According to the wife of the late Hassan Waseem, Hassan Waseem Afzal was admitted to the hospital five days ago due to corona where he was kept on a ventilator as his condition deteriorated.

The late Hassan Wasim Afzal held important posts in the Home Secretary, Principal Secretary to the Governor and the Prime Minister’s Secretariat.

Hassan Wasim Afzal also investigated the foreign assets of Asif Zardari, Benazir Bhutto and Nawaz Sharif.
