Fargo Force Get Fourth Win in Six Games
Three different players scored and goaltender Dov Grumet-Morris made 25 saves as the Fargo Force defeated the Lincoln Stars 4-1 on Saturday night at the Ice and Event Center. Fargo (13-13-0-2) won its fourth game in its last six outings and has a 12-8-0-0 at home. The Force took a 1-0 lead on the power play at 12:49 of the first period when defenseman Austin Osmanski scored on a one-timer from the right point on a pass from forward Kyle Schmidt.
The Fargo Force scored three goals in each period to get their fourth win in their last six games. Leading the way for the Force was Ryan Gropp, who had a goal and two assists. It was Gropp’s first game back after missing time with an injury. J.C. Beaudin also had three points (1 goal and 2 assists) to help the Force get their fourth win in their last six games.
