Emma Watson holds court as Harry Potter stars reunite… but there’s still no JK Rowling
Emma Watson brought a touch of magic to the London premiere of the latest Harry Potter movie last night – but there was no sign of the film’s author. Author JK Rowling is known for keeping a low profile at her public events – and despite being credited as a producer on the new film, she didn’t seem to be in attendance at last night’s star-studded premiere. The first Harry Potter film was released in 2001 and went on to make a total of $7.7billion at the box office, but it looks like the author is still not interested in being a part of the showbiz side of the franchise.
Emma Watson held court at the Vanity Fair Oscars party on Sunday night, and looked just like Hogwarts’ brightest witch. The actress, 27, wore a floor-length white gown with a striking silver pattern around the bust, as she posed with Tom Felton, who played Draco Malfoy, and Matthew Lewis, who played Neville Longbottom in the fantasy series. But there was something missing: her Harry Potter co-stars Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint, who were nowhere to be seen at the star-studded bash.
Emma Watson held court as the Harry Potter stars reunited in London – but there was still no sign of JK Rowling. The 24-year-old actress, who played Hermione Granger in the wizarding films, was joined by her co-stars Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Tom Felton at the world premiere of new movie The Crimes Of Grindelwald. Daniel, 27, was looking dapper in a blue suit, while Rupert, 30, showed off his hunky physique in a fitted suit and tie. Tom, 28, cut a casual figure in a checked shirt and denim jacket. He completed the look with a pair of white trainers.
