Dodgers star Pujols back at Busch Stadium
On a drizzly day in St. Louis, Albert Pujols made his first appearance at Busch Stadium since signing with the Los Angeles Dodgers as a free agent this past off season.
Two minutes before six o’clock on Tuesday night, there was an explosion of applause from those congregated under umbrellas and beneath overhangs as they spotted the new right fielder making his way to home plate through Gate 1A carrying two bats across one shoulder and holding what appeared to be batting gloves against his chest inside another strap belonging to a red suitcase-like container slung around him like some sort of bandoleer holster full of baseballs or grenades depending upon your perspective whether it’s positive or negative towards players who have changed teams for fortune
