Dodgers star Pujols back at Busch Stadium

On a drizzly day in St. Louis, Albert Pujols made his first appearance at Busch Stadium since signing with the Los Angeles Dodgers as a free agent this past off season.
Two minutes before six o’clock on Tuesday night, there was an explosion of applause from those congregated under umbrellas and beneath overhangs as they spotted the new right fielder making his way to home plate through Gate 1A carrying two bats across one shoulder and holding what appeared to be batting gloves against his chest inside another strap belonging to a red suitcase-like container slung around him like some sort of bandoleer holster full of baseballs or grenades depending upon your perspective whether it’s positive or negative towards players who have changed teams for fortune

In a rematch of the 2006 NLCS, Albert Pujols and the Los Angeles Dodgers travelled to St. Louis for an inter league series with their division rival Cardinals on Tuesday night.

Albert Pujols has made it back to Busch Stadium in 2018 as he once again donned his old stomping grounds or so we thought! The three-time NL MVP, who spent 11 seasons of his brilliant career with the Cardinals before departing for Anaheim following 2012 season is now part of one of baseball’s most dominant teams over recent years: The LA Dodgers (who hold MLB best 19 wins). Now just under halfway through this young MLB campaign that wouldn’t be highlighted without mention some interesting match ups within.
