Decision to divide Lahore into two parts instead of four

It was decided to divide Lahore administratively and financially into two parts instead of four.

It was proposed to divide Lahore administratively into four parts but Kashmir Lahore rejected the proposal to divide the city into four parts.

Now it has been decided to divide Lahore into two parts. The city is being divided into two parts in the name of Lahore City and Lahore Saddar.

Led by senior member Board of Revenue Babar Hayat Tarar, the Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner Lahore have started work on dividing the city into two parts in the light of the orders of the Punjab Chief Minister.

Now it is proposed to include Tehsil Ferozwala in District Lahore.
