Cricket-Buttler, Leach added to England squad for final India test

Jos Buttler and Jack Leach have been added to the England squad for their final test against India.

England is hoping that they can end the series on a high by winning in Southampton, when they announced both players had been called up as cover. Jos Buttler’s return comes after he was dropped from white-ball captain Eoin Morgan’s side for “development reasons”. Buttler has experienced an impressive Indian Premier League campaign with Rajasthan Royals where he hit four half centuries scoring 404 runs averaging 37.40 including 32 boundaries and 22 sixes in 14 innings at strike rate of 143 (stats taken 25th April 2019).
