Change in US foreign policy, lifting of travel bans on Iranian diplomats
There has been a major shift in US foreign policy. Travel bans on Iranian diplomats lifted
Former President Trump’s Middle East fire is being extinguished by the new US administration. The ice between Iran and the United States began to melt. The United States has announced that it will resume talks with Iran.
According to the US State Department, the US is ready to attend a meeting of the parties on the Iran nuclear deal because the Biden administration wants to find a diplomatic solution to the differences over the nuclear deal.
US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said the Iran nuclear deal was a major achievement of multilateral diplomacy, and that the nuclear deal was important enough to be agreed upon again.
On the other hand, the Biden administration lifted travel restrictions on Iranian diplomats, after which Iranian diplomats will be able to travel to the United States to attend UN meetings.
