Cate Blanchett and Kevin Kline to star in Alfonso Cuarón’s thriller series ‘Disclaimer’
Cate Blanchett and Kevin Kline have been cast in a new series from Alfonso Cuarón, called “Disclaimer”.
The thriller centers around two estranged former lovers who find themselves irresistibly drawn back into each others’ lives after 10 years apart. Both actors fit tremendously well for this role!
The show is based on the novel of same name by Renee Knight. In this adaptation, Academy Award winner Cate Blanchett stars as Catherine Ravenscroft – an investigative reporter who has been successful and respected for years in her work at Truth TV documentaries until she uncovers something dark about herself worth much more than gold from behind closed doors with long standing institutions that are famous around every corner pretty much everywhere except where it matters most: home life .
The story revolves around what happens when one day out reporting puts everything goodness after bad into question ? And how will they ever get back onto their feet again?
The show is based on a novel by Renee Knight that was made into an Emmy Award-winning movie. The protagonist in this series, Catherine Ravenscroft (Blanchett), has been successful at her career as television documentarian because of how she’s uncovered wrongdoing within long-respected institutions throughout America–including some from previous decades like the Catholic Church and GI Joe headquarters during World War II which had never before faced scrutiny for its sins committed under cover back when it seemed impossible these things could happen!
