Bobcats wind up fourth at Ankeny

All the work that we did over the entire season came down to this day. Sadly, it wasn’t enough and we fell short of our goal today with a fourth place finish in Ankeny. I am so incredibly proud of these girls though for giving everything they had all year long!

The Bobcats finished fourth at Ankeny on Monday, March 20th.

The Bobcats were defeated by the Johnston Jaguars with a final score of 1-0 in their first match of districts. “I’m proud that our team fought as hard as they did,” said Head Coach Artie Torgeson after the game. The loss was disappointing for many players and fans but it will not hold them back from trying to come out strong next time around against Des Moines North if we advance past Waukee tomorrow night.”
