According to reports, BCCI secretary Jay Shah has reached out to MS Dhoni for the role of a mentor.
According to Sportskeeda website, “BCCI Secretary Jay Shah Reached Out To MS Dhoni For The Mentor’s Role: Reports”, it says that according to media reports BCi secretary have sent an email asking Indian Team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s opinion about bowling coach Bharat Arun and fielding coach R Sridhar not being picked by Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC) headed by Sourav Ganguly in order form core committee for India coaching staff selection. It also said that he wanted their opinions before taking any major step as chief national selector M Vaidya was now part-time member
Reports have surfaced that BCCI Secretary Jay Shah has reached out to MS Dhoni for the mentor’s role in his team. The former Indian cricket captain is currently enjoying a break from international commitments after he retired last year, having led India to two World Cup titles among other accolades. Though nothing official has been announced yet by either party, it would be interesting if this comes true as both are now involved with different businesses and may find little time coming together on-field during IPL 2018
