BA, MA, B.Sc and M.Sc educational programs closed

The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has closed BA, BSc, MA and MSc educational programs across the country.

Experts on the HEC’s decision say that the decision of the HEC will cause severe difficulties to the universities apart from the students who want private examinations.

Prof. Dr. Iftikhar Ahmed, Vice Chancellor, Gomal University, said that an online conference of Vice Chancellors from all over the province was being held at Gomal University, Dera Ismail Khan against the decision of HEC.

Iftikhar Ahmed said that with this decision, aspirants for private education will never be able to get an education degree which is against basic human rights.

Vice Chancellor of Gomal University has appealed to the Chairman Higher Education Commission to reconsider the decision.
